Flight from Helsinki to Warsaw, bus from the airport to the train station, train from Warsaw to Poznan, 20 minutes walk from the railway station to our hotel. The weather was nice, sunny and hot. Changing clothes, another 20 minutes walk from the hotel to the venue, and being there just in time for the pairs .

I played the pairs with Małgorzata Zielińska (from Poland), enjoyed playing with her, and we reached the semi-finals .

Saturday and Sunday were the days of the singles events. On both days there were round robin groups at first, and two best players from each group continued to the further games. I played well enough in the first games on both days, to get myself into the further games. On Saturday i lost already the first game after the groups, and was anything else than happy about that. On Sunday i did bit better, and got to play also the second game after the groups. I played quite okay, but the opponent, Aleksandra, just played bit better, and i was out of the games after that game.
